Over the years, there have been dozens of friends, family members and colleagues who have contributed a significant amount of time and energy to the growth and success of D&M Striping.
The current D&M Striping Operations Crew is comprised of the following:
Dave McVey
30+ years ago, Dave McVey, founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board, purchased a gravity paint machine to support his family of five – along with an ever increasing cost of Catholic education. While doing so, Dave had the benefit of having three teenage sons at that time enabled him to educate and train Michael, Johnny and Brian about traffic control engineering – i.e. layout, machine operations, and understand all aspects of the operations.
After retiring in 2004, David passed control of D&M Striping to Michael. Over twenty years later, we take pride in the fact that D&M Striping remains a McVey-owned and operated business with customers growing each year.
Michael McVey
With over 20 years of parking lot striping experience, Michael McVey is now the current President of D&M Striping. While working as a full-time Chicago Firefighter, Michael is responsible for all aspects of the business including sales, estimating, job delivery and accounts receivable.
Brian McVey
With over 20 years of parking lot striping experience, Brian McVey continues to help D&M Striping on large, complex projects. Brian takes time away from his busy schedule of being a full-time Chicago Police Officer to assist D&M Striping, when needed.
John McVey
While John no longer remains involved in the day to day business, he is at times required for strategic consulting purposes in order to ensure D&M Striping remains the premier striping business in the Chicagoland area.
